Bug on revit UI when using enscape

  • So I'm using Enscape for Revit for more than 2 months now. After the update a bug in the user interface, as well as in the drawing area, appeared.

It locks the modify tab on the last element that has being modified and it won't let me see any selection on the screen (the blueish highlight of a selected item on revit). The highlighted item will only appear if i zoom in and out. The modify tab starts to "grow" as I try to click on different elements of the project. It opens the modify options of a door, but if I click on a floor it will keep showing the door options and won't let me accept the changes i make (it's a bit difficult to describe, so i'll attach an image of the bug to demonstrate). It only happens if I have enscape open and live updating. The only way to have everything back to normal is to close the project and open it again. I tried reinstalling both Revit and Enscape to ensure it wasn't a installation bug, but problem remains.

In this example I have a windows selected and the modify tab shows modifications tools for a lot of other items i have clicked on. The window doesn't show the higlight.

This is after zooming in and out.

  • The window doesn't show the higlight.

That's still the case with 2.1.3.0? So the fix between 2.1.0.53 and 2.1.3.0 did not help? Then it might have another reason. I don't have the faintest clue, because Enscape does absolutely nothing in regard to selecting.

This is a behaviour we haven't heard of before.

Please use the feedback button so we can take a closer look at your log files and system configuration. Please be so kind to attach Revit Journal Files to the ticket afterwards, that correspond to the time you observed this behaviour. You can find them in "%LocalAppData%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2015\Journals"

Just to be sure: The behaviour you described happens with every model you open, is that correct?
