Couldn't Understand the values in Camera Path

What is the purpose of editing it manually? These exports are not intended to be edited, but to give ablility to have multiple paths and to share them.

If you need to set exact keyframe positions and orientations you can use view sync with the host application and simply add keyframes when camera is on desired position.

Alexander Devaykin ... is there currently a way to edit the position and rotation of a keyframe once it is set?

renderwiz sure! Click on the keyframe and you can change all the available properties, including position and orientation.

Thank you... I should have been more specific. Editing views within Enscape for me is not very natural and I prefer sketchup for creating views. Can I edit the view in sketchup, then hit "Update keyframe" or something similar?

Same problem for Rhino.

renderwiz not really. But you can:

1. Enable view sync, click on a keyframe, set camera within SketchUP and apply keyframe changes

2. Create favorite view, cick on a keyframe, click on a favorite view, apply keyframe change

Got it. Or I suppose I could create a new path just to define a specific position and angle and then copy the values in the path xml file?

renderwiz I don't get what you try to achieve, but you can edit XML file manually for sure

Maybe you could use our orbit functionality. So please try to right click the center of the object, maybe the roof, and then orbit around it and add keyframes at wanted positions.

The issue still is that you currently can't control the curves between the single keyframes.

You can try to edit the xml file manually / programmatically and try to load it again, but we do not provide support for that.

If you still want to try it: The positions and view vectors are in our internal coordinate system: right-handed, Y points up, units are meters

Currently struggling with an issue that makes my mouse useless to set the time of day in Enscape. (See my other post). I need to complete some videos, it would be very helpful if I could get some help with how the "hour" attribute in the xml file is used. Simple things like 12.000 is noon etc......

Anyone????

Jonathan, please see this video, it does a better job of showing what is happening. My work around is to edit the xml directly, however, that only helps when rendering video. If I just want to grab a still it is hit or miss.

• some keys on your keyboard are stuck or
• some forgotten input devices sending input signals/ have a malfunction
  • Is it occurring on all workstations or only at yours?
  • Can you display the controls inside of Enscape [h]?
  • Is a Xbox controller connected?
