Is there the ability to have just a back plate in enscape, not full spherical hdri. This would be very helpful when doing site insertion. If enscape could pickup the photo used in sketchup and render on it. Has anyone successfully performed this?

scottofazphx We don't have a feature for it but you could create it on your own it SU.
Create a huge plane and assign the picture on it.
Issue with that: It throws a shadow so you would have to care about that.

That reminds me; any news on the ability to "exclude from GI", "hide from camera" ect? I still think a right-click option on components/groups with these settings could be very, very useful! it's someting other engines can do (see screenshot from Maxwell), and i miss it a lot
