I found that occasionally Enscape looses the location of the image file and you have to re-load it into the material (The native application shows it, Enscape reports it as missing and needs it re-applied - not worked out any specific cause yet.)
stop the press.
mucking around with the bump settings fixed it.... was 0% set it to 100%... fixed the problem, don't know why...
funny thing is resetting to 0% problem still is fixed..
craigr Thanks for the update.
Seems to be an update issue.
Have you tried to reload the image file before?
The brightness had an effect as you see that the image details were washed out due a too high image brightness.
Please update to our latest release version and check the behavior.
We'll have to analyze the behavior in detail if it's still occurring.
Gadget are your images stored on a network location?
Nope - locally - Documents/Textures/(texture type sub-folder)/image.jpg
But I think SU did crash and recover sometime during the day when I noticed it, so it may have something to do with that.
...Although I have noticed that sometimes I have to close and re-start both SU and Enscape for some newly added items to have any texture applied to them (they appear just as black shapes in Enscape.) No transparency or emissive settings to these textures, I don't think there was a bump applied either and the roughness remained unaltered.
Not a problem since I can just re-start and it only seems to happen now & again for new geometry added (rather than components).
Sure - have to wait until Monday now...
