Origin of nested groups moving

I use SU - placing components with components and groups nested in them. When these are re-sized(stretched) while auto-update is on it throws the geometry in Enscape off.

This is simply fixed by re-loading Enscape, but there must be a glitch somewhere; I don't want it to happen while prospective customers are watching me change sizes and re-sculpt their model.

I'll keep an eye out and forward on the next time it happens. It's fairly easy to reproduce (at least it happens to me a few times on every job I model.) I think it's probably something to do with multiple groups having geometry nested about three or four levels deep; maybe its applying the transformation to more than just the intended object?

Update: it may be connected to the "Undo" action - just had things jump about when I rotated a component within a group, then undid the action.

Just to bump this; it's still happening with the latest release (2.3.0.83-g01dda85)

{Edit: ... Now this is weird - I just performed an undo two levels (undid the close group and fill actions that caused another off-set), then performed redo twice and it returned the geometry to the correct position with the correct fill.}

The glitch seems to have changed from moving whole components/groups to only moving individual points:

Edit: The glitched geometry is attached to specific groups - when these groups are hidden by passing behind something in the viewing window, all the glitchy geometry vanishes to re-appear when that group is visible again.

The group that goes glitchy is not normally the group I'm editing: it seems to be some other group that is having (some) of the transformations applied to it when I'm actually editing another group.

(I just finished editing a piece of furniture and noticed that the house walls are now a cubist masterpiece, but the furniture has not had any of the changes made applied to it. In Enscape. It's fine in SU.)

Update: Enscape-Setup-2.3.3.1493-g1875bae still happens.

I can say that this still happens on every model when I am editing the geometry (Enscape-Setup-2.4.2.2124-gd384852 SU18):

Yes - Enscape open in the BG with 'live updates' on and re-loading the geometry fixes it:

Model is made of several groups and nested groups/components. When I create any geometry (eg steps in the above case) the first thing I do is draw a rectangle and make it a group. I then edit this group to create the end result (using native tools; no plugins)... this seems to be the only common action that produces this bug that I have found (so far).

Any time I deliberately try to reproduce the error I can't. Any time I want to demonstrate editing and changing stuff on-the-fly with clients/bosses watching, I can almost guarantee that it will happen. (I have to rely on toggling scenes and visibility rather than actually changing any geometry.)
