Please integrate a button that allows Enscape viewport to refresh to match what is in the Rhino viewport. ie. when I change lighting/ materials/ geometries in Rhino, Enscape only automatically updates 50% of the time, sometimes it would update in a couple of minutes, sometimes never, I always have to shut down Enscape and relaunch it for the update. Everyone at my office experiences the same issue.
Add refresh viewport button

Same here. Layer switching doesn't cause an update at the Enscape output often, but not always. (That's why I didn't send an example file yet.)

In SketchUp and Rhino the "Start Enscape" buttons works as a refresh when Enscape is already running. If this does not help, normally closing&restarting Enscape does not help, either. If the Enscape output differs from the CAD viewport even after refresh/restart, please send the model to our support, so we can take a closer look.

Last I was working on a very large model and only the "Start" button helped to get the scene updated. I cost a lot of waiting time until the scene was loaded for all the different layer configurations I needed to render. I hope Leo has an idea for an example scene.

Thanks, I did not know the start up had other purposes!

Simon Weinberger I sent an example file now. (email "Rhino layer update issue"). Here I can switch layers on/off two times and than the scene isn't updated anymore. A quick fix would be very welcome, since a complete reload of complex scenes is very time consuming.
Ticket #43155

We fixed one update issue in the 2.2.3.1625 preview version, but there are still problems with deeply nested layers in Rhino.

Simon Weinberger I installed the latest preview and checked it. It's a pity that my client send me quite complex models and so the Enscape output update doesn't work. I hope you find a way to fix it. Here a typical layer structure. Thank you for your effort.
