When is Enscape3D expected to support SU2021?

Install SKP2021, go to your user folder, subfolder AppData\Roaming\Sketchup\Sketchup2020\SketchUp\Plugins, copy the folder "enscape" and the file "enscape.rb" to AppData\Roaming\Sketchup\Sketchup2021\SketchUp\Plugins and you're set.
Just tried launching, works just fine. Can't speak for rendering stills/videos/panoramas though, haven't tested those yet.

Thank you MatthiasL for your time. But, are you sure? Copied all non + visible items from and paste to. Enscape isn't starting.

In Sketchup you might have forgotten in View, Toolbar, Enscape
Then it should work

For me it worked, are you sure, you copied it into the right location? If you did it rigth the bars should be available as shown by Dadi .

Hi MatthiasL, thanks for your follow-up mail. The strange thing is that I have E3D up and running in 2020. If I consult the indicated location, I can't find any folder with the name 'enscape' in the hidden and unhidden parts. I've checked if E3D was installed on another user. It wasn't the case either. A search under all the users for 'enscape' results in hits for the Documents folder where renders are and downloads... I guess I wait some time

did you install SU correctly?
Right-click on installer and select ‘run as administrator’
A lot of plugins will fail if you don’t do that.

Hi Paul, lately E3D is offered as an *.msi which doesn't, offer to my knowledge, that functionality as with a *.exe?

I like to wait a few weeks before updating new software releases (Enscape has been good thus far, I must say, though!). Let some bugs iron out. Although, not much has changed (again) as far as I can tell aside from the logo so...

It's a workaround until they implement compatibility with SKP2021 - it's not like you're being forced to use it for now.
