Skatter freezing SketchUp is now fixed

Hello!

I know there are many Skatter users in this forum, so just a quick post to let you know that we recently fixed an issue that made SketchUp freeze when generating a Skatter setup while Enscape was running.

So this should make using Skatter with Enscape more enjoyable

You can download the latest version here: https://getskatter.com/download/

We have also reset all trials, in case you want to test Skatter again. Simply go to the "Extensions" menu, then "Skatter > Deactivate License". This will delete your license file and then you can activate the Demo again.

Is it possible to disable the tag for automatic material recognition? Skatter already has materials in their proxies that have the word "grass..." in the material name. Escape recognizes the TAG and modifies the bush structure by replacing it with a 2D preset which (in this case) worsens the effect. The alternative would be to open all the skatter Proxies and re-edit the materials one by one. In my case I have several customized ones and it would greatly lengthen my working time.

I think you can disable this in Enscape General Settings -> Performance -> Grass/Carpet Rendering

Any news on Skatter 2? Haven't made it into the crowdfunding campaign when it launched and therefore no beta, therefore eagerly awaiting a public relase!
