i think enscape need some notification feature on picture of the week & if there is some event or important announcement

all forum user should get forum notification if picture of the week voting is started or event is started, so all forum user is got noticed.

We've already created plenty of different announcements, for example when our current contest was starting. Just to make sure, have you perhaps not gotten a notification in the Forum itself at least?
