I am looking for a nice curtain asset / file. I tried to make transparant curtains several times now but it still doesn't look nice in enscape.
Does anybody has a tip where I can download a good curtain 3d file?
skethup, dgw, or 3ds file

I use 2 ways to do that;
A/ TILEABLE IMAGE
- find a fabric image on a fabric site like Curtains (kvadrat.dk)
- apply on model
- UV map correctly ThruPaint > (1) UV Painting Plugin For SketchUp - ThruPaint | Part 1 - YouTube
- tweak colors
- make sure the roughness is set 'rough'
B/ NATIVE SKETCHUP 'FENCE' MATERIAL
- desaturate
- rescale

Although this has used me into the past I'm still looking to have these curtains better.
TIP: in daytime scenes you give your curtains a small Self-Illumination as you can do for metal material too to have it less dark into the corners. Credits for this metal method goes to an other forum member.
