I tried to render, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Need to ask for developers. I know that some evermotion grass assets are added in asset library, maybe guys could repeat this trick with laubwerk Or integrate rheir library in enscape... We will pray
This thread should probably be moved to the "Feature requests" section
But, Laubwerk support has been talked about alot before. I made this thread 3 years ago, but nothing has happened since:
But, at that time we did not have the asset library, and for the most part i think the plan is, that the library should eliminate the need for Laubwerk.
right now the number of available plant models are still too limited though, but hopefully this could be changed in the future
Laubwerk support is definitely a demanded feature request on our agenda and this is a topic I will definitely bring up again in our next feature request meeting by also forwarding your upvotes and feedback - at least at the moment there are no implementation plans I could talk about though yet.
For enscape to be able to run Laubwork would be a huge deal for our company. We now work with V-ray and enscape. We would like to switch to enscape for all users, though the limited (though allready impressive) library of vegitation stops us from changing.
We now only use enscape for real-time presentations, while it could be used for rendering, if it accepted the Laubwork-plugin.
So its still being developed, but Heres a way to get some Labwerk assets in your Enscape scene!

It's not quite as robust as the actual Labwerk plugin, but, it works and the models are really nice to have in the scene!
3..... YEARS....... LATER.... Seriously, Enscape, get with the times. Do you guys realize how long 3 years is? There is probably no better plant plugin for Sketchup users and it's 3 years later and still no plans even of when you'll include this for Enscape. Either the Enscape team is too small to handle demand for their product, or you guys don't see the right priorities, or you don't care? Is it all of the above? 3 years is a long, long time to not consider adding support for the best plant extension available in Sketchup and many other design applications.... I don't get it.

Welcome to our Forum.
I can understand the frustration - From here I can only say that this simply wasn't on our agenda next to other wishes from the community, while we also want/wanted to provide our own vegetation assets which are fine-tuned to run as well as possible within real-time rendering. I will of course still also forward your Feedback, your whole post actually for our product managers to see.
I would really appreciate that Demian Gutberlet , thank you for making the effort on my feedback. I downloaded the laubwerk plugin yesterday very excited to use it with sketchup and enscape since enscape is the only renderer I use and know how to use, only to find out it doesn't work. Was just frustrating... I hope you guys see the importance of this soon because Laubwerk is a big deal for designers like myself looking to incorporate a landscape into their building designs.
