I just spent a day matching a color and look of two brick blends and mix that a client wanted. To accommodate the look I used Photoshop to create the material jpeg files, Revit for the model, and final render in Enscape. While I was able to make it work, it was real work to get it to properly present the materials. I am including several comparison images.
Also, ambient lighting seems to be less than efficient. No change is really noted on an exterior render (trying to defeat the harsh solid black shadows). I can use the vray trick and create a light to offset the heavy shadows, but why not just use vray then?
Anyway, work on the materials side of things please. I used up WAY more time that was necessary trying to beat this thing to fit.
Thanks Robert
