It's been reported to me that version 3.0 offline assets are not recognized by earlier versions of Enscape, so until they upgrade, they need to keep using the online asset browser.

Enscape Assets scaling problem

I think that the instruction for the fix was too brief and didn't provide enough instruction.
However, For me, this deleting of the asset folder worked perfectly
I'm running SketchUp 2019 Enscape 2.9
Some other context that may help others:
Close Enscape and SketchupBe sure to uncheck the offline library
Delete Asset folderReopen SketchUp
Open Asset library and if you have the file explorer open the Asset Folder should reappear.
-
jtubb Sure, you can also find the folder via this path:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape - there should be a folder at this location named "Assets". Deleting this folder will trigger a new download of the Asset Library.Unfortunately, I do not see this folder, the only one that shows up is 'CreativeCloud'
-
I don't see the folder....
There is got to be an easy fix.

Besure you have hidden item checked or you won't beable to see appdata (at least in my case)

I have the same problem trying to help a user, except I already have the show hidden item box checked, interestingly, a different user with the same issue has the folder. Luckily we have a VDI they can use for now, but others may not be so lucky

Hi! I've already delete the file stated above. But there's only one asset is too huge. Giant dustbin

after a test this morning it works again.
I uninstalled v3 cleanly, cleaned with Ccleaner, reinstalled v2.9. Delete the Assets folder. And it works again. -

Just to make very sure, you followed the exact steps listed in the first post of this thread? And you still experience this, even by now?
If so please also briefly send us a feedback report as we'd receive log files from your machine this way which should be very helpful to further analyze why this occurs for you even after following the solution steps.

Fiz a segunda opção, coloquei o ativo e excluo e depois reinicio a biblioteca de ativos (alguns ativos funcionam, alguns mais continuam com a escala totalmente errada)
-
Yesterday deleting the Assets folder worked just fine. Today it keeps happening for new models as well.
Used the exact method as described above
-
It seems like the issue hasn`t been resolved yet. Can anyone give a list of steps that seems to work?
-
Problem solved (2.9)...but all the extra texture (bump, displace, etc) now are missed...why? WHY? WWWWHHHHYYYY?
-
I've deleted the temp file and it's fixed everything it seems, except "Daisies" (the old dasies patch, not one of the new blocks.)
This is even when bringing them in to a new clean sketchup file. The proxy is coming in oversized and they're rendering at the larger scale too.I'm currently downloading Offline assets to see if that makes a difference.
Sill on version 2.9.1
Edit...Offline assets didn't make a difference, but the scale difference is exactly 100x so I think I can work around it easy enough for now.

except "Daisies"
Can confirm this. I did all the deleting etc and it worked perfectly, I then opened an old model which had the daisiy patch and they were as big as trees
I just deleted them but they do need fixing.

Now that is funny. Not when you are on a deadline but to anyone not on that deadline. That is funny.
