Interesting... I do not see how to adjust the amount of Clouds...
Is there a slider for Cloud intensity/quantity anywhere?
You were not able to see the clouds settings because the "source" is set to Skybox.
The skybox is overriding the procedural sky.
Thnx, MHT, Phil...
It was hidden in plain sight... UI design and UX... two different things, very related... a Radio Box with two groups of settings would make a very intuitive way of finding settings instead of hiding things (user perception).
Also, horizon does not automatically equal clouds.... horizon = what's in the ground at a distance most likely? Again, user experience/perception.
It would be nice to still be able too access these settings outside of the render window or before rendering. In large models its nice to be able to set your settings or pull a preset before you launch enscape.
Where are "saved" visual setting presets located? I am not seeing that feature anymore in the visual settings.

The menu has been moved accordingly:

Horizon = where the ground meets the sky. IF there's clouds in the sky they'll meet at the horizon (ground).

yup.... And clouds (by themselves ) = above one's head (point of reference).... hence not necessarily = horizon (also another reference) as everything is relative...
Use two Radio buttons to allow the user a more intuitive selection between Preset "Horizon/Clouds" and "Parametric Clouds"...
Orange Circle indicates the Parametric Clouds option is the active one of the two Radio Buttons... Preset Horizon / Clouds is inactive... you could also grey out the drop down box to make it more obvious the whole Preset option is not active.
EDIT: Always show the controls for the Parametric Clouds... "un-hide" the settings...
Image edited with Corel PhotoPaint... not an actual Enscape dialog box.
Agreed that hiding is not really good.
How many hidden features do users need to discover?
Parametric clouds make no sense if you choose a Skybox image. Otherwise the clouds would appear in front of your image. Perhaps it would be better to simply gray out the cloud settings when selecting the sky box option rather than hide them all together.
