While working on Revit model in section and 3d with Enscape 3.0 running, I decided to add an asset (beer table) to the scene, however I did not have a plan view active, though there were 2 (plan and reflected ceiling) open. When the asset was selected, I got a pop up error (not in plan mode essentially). It locked Revit. I wound up having to kill Revit with Task Manager to get out. Needless to say, I lost some plan updates.
Anyway, please check your error-catching routine on this. I sent the Revit and Enscape log files to support.
