Revit 2020 + Enscape 3.0 keeps crashing (rtx 3070)

REMINDER! If you encounter any issues with Enscape (e.g. crashes, installation problems) or your subscription please reach out to our dedicated support team directly through the Help Center or by using the Support button as detailed HERE! Thank you for your understanding.
  • So my Revit keeps crashing when I start Enscape 3.0 with this model I work on. The model is not that big, house size. I have been using Enscape 2,9 with no issues. Now i did get a brand new PC with new geforce rtx 3070 and the error message show driver as a possible problem... i got the last drivers so not sure what to do. It does start sometimes but I had it crash yesterday (windows blue screen type) during a presentation with a client and that is not cool.

  • You need to file a report using the Feedback button from Enscape. This will capture your machine settings and send them to the Enscape Support team. It could be a myriad of issues including your graphic card is not properly seated, has worked loose and needs to be reinserted.

    - Laptop or workstation?

    - If you're running multiple monitors I'd recommend unplugging one of the monitors or at least making sure the both monitors are plugged directly into the graphic card.

    Fedback sent.

    Workstation

2 monitors and both are connected in to the graphic card directly, ofcourse. Unplugging a monitor every time I use Enscape is not an option.

I'm dealing with this problem as well and working through it with tech support. I was able to stop the crashes by turning off RTX. I'm using Revit 2021 and an Nvidia 2080ti.

Welcome to our Forum - in case of such crashes please always send us a feedback report please:

Of course, sending in one report will be enough, but generally, if you experience further problems in the future like those kindly make use of the button as described above. :) Thank you in advance!

  • Hi,

A few days ago I installed enscape, I work with revit.

After I installed it my pc crashed a few times, even without using Enscape, just using Revit. I reinstalled Enscape.

    No crahes anymore.

Yesterday evening I installed Enscape again, immediately a crash using Revit.

    Today again.

I reinstalled Enscape. I asked our support colleges, they told me that the specs from my pc are ok. The support colleges could never help with autodesk problems.

Another collegue working with a laptop has the same problem, he crashes already more times.

Another one tried to install it, but Enscape didn't start.

Another one didn't dare to install the update version.

We are all not really pc nerts and have not to much time and knowledge to fix the problem, what can we do?

With the old version from Enscape we didn't have this problem.

    Hope you could help us.

  • Is your graphic card sufficient to run Enscape?

What kind of graphic card do you have? You need to file a report using the Feedback button from Enscape. This will capture your machine settings and send them to the Enscape Support team.
