This is a good point. We already fixed this, but it did not made it into v2.3 because we did not have time to test everything properly.
In the upcoming preview version, you will have pixel-perfect high quality clouds which even move to the wind (not only during time of day change).

Hi jpedstrand , thanks for your feedback! Here's a bit of feedback - in order to generate smoothly simulated dynamic clouds, we need to calculate them in a type of three dimensional grid with a specific resolution. Increasing this resolution would quickly lead to heavy lagging when changing the daytime.
So, as of now, there's now way to increase the cloud resolution to prevent these issues. As an alternative, you can either use a very highly resolved Skybox containing a sky of your choice, or you can export your renderings along with an alpha channel (go to Enscape settings -> Capture tab, check "Export Material-ID and Depth" and dial "Depth Range" all the way up to 10000 m. You'll end up with an additional black and white image you can use to get rid of the background easily in most image editing solutions, allowing you to simply add a photograph as background.)
Hope this helps. Let me know in case there's further questions.

Which one of you guys do I believe?
For me, it is only nesessary to have perfect clouds in export, maybe the extra resolution can be generated in the export as a prevention for lag?
The whole win for me is not having to do much in post combined with controll over clouds, so static skybox would be less than ideal.
Ofcourse I could just get rid of the clouds and run blue skyes but for indicating glass surfaces in facades there is a need to have clouds reflected.

jpedstrand Give it a try: We just uploaded the next preview version 2.3.0.206

Thank you for your feedback, we'll try to improve that until release.
