I finally installed Revit 2022 a couple days ago. Worked in it yesterday just fine, then today no problem until I went to work on a project that is in the midst of renders and videos. OOPS!!!! I was like wait, where's Enscape?!
First world problem: It never occurred to me that Enscape wouldn't also be ready for 2022. I will try to be patient and just be thankful I have not yet removed 2021 from my machine and also that I didn't hit save to update that file!!
Thanks for all your hard work and for creating such a great program!
3rd party app developers are generally not in the know prior to Autodesk releases.
Tips
Do your own in house testing first.
Wait a while to upgrade projects & archive a final release version.
Keep the previous release installed just in case.
Always frustrating to loose hard work from a tech glitch.

Autodesk does inform third party developers about new releases and sometimes even provides the SDK's before the release. Still, it's understandable that Enscape needs a few weeks to get a stable version out.

WadeShuey , it's planned to be added to our preview in a little over a week (8 days). We cannot 100% guarantee it yet, but that is the most exact date I can give at the moment.
at risk of sounding like a pest, is this still the plan? I know that unforeseen issues can pop up, especially when working on a time crunch.

Jusschuck , no worries at all - I can completely understand the need for Revit 2022 support and it's always good to have a specific release date.
The plan is to include Revit 2022 support with our next upcoming preview this Wednesday. Stay tuned!
I've got the preview installed and all seems to be working as well as I could ask a preview to work.
Thanks, Demian!

That's very lovely to hear! Thanks for sharing your positive feedback.

Many thanks for posting the preview for Revit 2022 as promised
Works fine for me in Revit 2022 although I mainly use Enscape for realtime wandering around inside the building model with a Spacemouse (which Lumion does not support )
cheers,
W

How do we get the Preview? where can we download it?
-
Where do we find this 'preview' version?
Thanks
Dave

I found it.
Follow up question; will this preview version overwrite the version that works with Revit 2021?
I don't need revit 2022 that bad just yet if the formal version of enscape that works confidently with 2022 is coming out shortly.

After rebooting, restarting Revit, I get the above message.
-
I'm having the same issue. Continuously spammed by this warning message in both Revit 2022 & 2021.
-
Thanks, everyone - We're aware of this behaviour and this is something which should be fixed rather soon. I also know that this can be a bit annoying, but should hopefully not hinder your workflow too much in a negative manner.

Having the same problem as above. Feel so silly for doing my model in Revit 2022 before realizing enscape wasn’t up to par with the version yet. Hoping this can be fixed soon, I have a due date this Friday! ?

I'll just keep on using 2021 until it's live. Will users get a notification when it is available?
