I have a user whose Enscape is crashing. When I get on their workstation, Enscape does not crash fore me. Some specifics:
Video Card is NVIDIA Quadro P5000. Video card driver is up-to-date.
Enscape version is 3.0.
Crash appears to be specific to user. Anywhere I should start looking? I think I'll start testing for incompatibility with plugins.
Reinstall Enscape for all users. Also determine if the users project contains elements causing the crashing.
This situation was happening when the user had 2.9.1 installed at his workstation. We tried to solve the issue by installing 3.0.0. Problem still occurs for him. Problem does not occur for other users in the same model.
He has a new, recent installation of Enscape 3.0.0.
a1997xf211 , just to make sure, you did try installing it for all users on that machine?
As a brief explanation:
Run the Enscape installer again and in the first window of the installation process, where you will see the checkbox named 'I accept the terms in the License Agreement' make sure that is checked.
This will enable the Advanced button which you should then click to proceed to the next window which will offer you the option to install for all users of the machine.
Also, if perhaps possible, can you send us a feedback report if you re-install 2.9.1, otherwise you can also share the log files directly:
Enscape main plugin log files:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Enscape\Data\Logs
Revit plugin log files:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape\Logs\EnscapeRevitPlugin
You can just place all the files that are contained in these folders into a .zip file and send these to me.
