Hi, can you give an update on progress in relation to utilising Point Cloud data within Enscape. We are currently using Navisworks to produce animation sequences which shows modelled elements in place within the point cloud. Being able to preview Revit modelled elements and Point Cloud data within Enscape would be a far better way of working. Any update would be appreciated.

Approved the thread. -
Enscape renders geometry, lighting, materials, etc. Point clouds don't have any of these parameters.

This is a great question, thank you for asking.
Hopefully the team doesn't share Phil's myopia... the same characterization could be made of Unreal Engine, yet they recently integrated point cloud visualization and have bought Capturing Reality.

Pretty sure it has been requested already. Thank you very much for the clarity on Enscape's plans.

Fair point! Although I am sure someone also once said that the moon doesn't have an oxygen rich atmosphere, easily accessible sources of water or even an obvious reason for humans to visit, and yet humans did. Anything is possible, just a matter of how much you want to put into accomplishing it and it sounds to me like the Enscape devs have higher priorities at the moment than landing a human on the moon. lol

Any news on point cloud being compatible with Enscape ? One of the goals is to have google maps 3D be compatible with Enscape...

Very nice ! Unfortunately we use Revit in our company, not sketchup..
