No Project is currently Active

  • Hi Enscape,


    Long time lurker, first time posting. I'm having a odd issue in Rhino where most of Enscape's functions are unavailable and greyed out after the render window loads.


    I can:

    orbit around the model, save screenshots, sync the view to rhino, change the time of day.


    I cannot:

    Update the model, update materials, trigger any saved views, access visual settings, export panoramas, export exe.


    When I hover on the visual settings button it says "Unavailabe: Visual Settings are stored within the active CAD project, but no project is currently active." The rhino command line also throws the following when opening the render window:

    Here is where it gets weirder. If I open a new file and copy my geometry, everything works just fine. But as soon as I save, close and reopen the file the problem comes back again. If I want to recreate the problem I literally have to open a new rhino file, make a box, save the file, close and reopen and the enscape window will show as in the attached screenshot.

  • zandor16 , welcome to our Forum and thanks for the report, I'm sorry to hear about this behaviour.


    If you have the chance, please first off simply uninstall any version of Enscape currently present on your machine and then re-install Enscape using our latest release installer, this time with Administrator permission as well if possible.


    Should that not help at all, can you check if you can actually send us a feedback report instead? I hope it's not blocked out as well so that this will be possible. If it is not, let me know, please!
