ANY INTERIOR ARCHITECT(s) USER(s) (FROM BELGIUM)?

  • timeless

Changed the title of the thread from “ANY INTERIOR ARCHITECT USER FROM BELGIUM?” to “ANY INTERIOR ARCHITECT(s) USER(s) (FROM BELGIUM)?”.
  • timeless I'm afraid your inquiry might be a bit too specific given that our ArchiCAD userbase is not as huge as SketchUp / Revit, and the user would have to come from Belgium as well course. I've still gladly pinned your post for the next few days so that anyone who stumbles into the ArchiCAD subforum should also see your thread. :)

    Thanks you so much @DemainGutberlet

  • Hi Timeless, we work with Archicad, and used to work with Vectorworks and Sketchup (and revit for a short period of time, I wouldn't reccomend it for interior stuff; wayyy to slow and tedious). For us Archicad is the way to go and it works great with Enscape. Archicad is way more versitile then Vectorworks when it comes to 3d design. We never looked back; we are happy we made the switch from VW to AC 3 years ago.

  • Hi normaalkracht,

Bedankt voor je reply, niet normaal ;)

Any chance I could have a ZOOM call ?

Perhaps I will go quicker to shoot & get answered these questions?

    - REVIT <> ARCHICAD <> X

    - Interior plans possible with all details in BIM ?

-- Other 2/3D app still needed. If correcte, I see you still use SketchUp. Perhaps quicker for a first draft?

-- Exchange with other players for ex. constructors who don't use BIM
    - Is this cost effective for interiors of residential buildings. Pivoting-point for use?

    - Other interior offices who use ARCHICAD ?

  • Hi Timeless; yeah we could do a zoom meeting, if you want you can mail us (you can find our email on our website normaalkracht.nl), happy to hear from you!

Archicad works great for interior design; we do use some extra plugins like Modelport and Enscape (obvious) to get the full interior experience.
