- I have a laptop with Thunderbolt interface RTX3080, Enscape 3.1 Preview+8, I cannot choose and use NVIDIA DLSS Support + NVIDIA Real-Time Denoiser + Ray Traced Sun Shadows.
- It shows that my graphics card does not support RTX.
- All functions under the RTX item are displayed in gray and cannot be selected

a6200336 , I'm sorry to hear about.
I'm afraid, this does not sound like an Enscape issue then but rather like a hardware problem if your card does not seem to support RTX in general - is there a chance to contact your system administrator for example? Also, unfortunately I haven't had a chance to give external GPU's a try, so right of the bat I cannot say why your setup would not support Raytracing even when connected the graphics card is connected externally. Does the manual say anything about that what so ever? Perhaps you may also want to / have to contact the support of your external adapter.
Overall, I do reckon RTX does not work in any application, or is it just Enscape perhaps after all?

I can use the RTX engine of Chaos Vantage and Vray and the RTX function of Octane render, but I can't use it on Enscape.
-
This is most likely a driver configuration thing. Please send us log files so we can see why the eGpu wasn't detected properly.

I also have the same problem. legion 5, rtx 2060 (Nvidia drive 471.11 Game ready) and Enscape 3.1 Preview+10. It shows that my graphics card does not support RTX, I cannot choose NVIDIA DLSS Support . only have NVIDIA Denoiser + Ray Traced Sun Shadows

What version of the software did you install? I have reinstalled Sketch Up and Enscape several times and still cannot solve the problem? How did you do it?

I restarted the computer, it lost the option to install ray tracing and dlss. and then I tried again and again with no success. It seems that it lacks stability from the combination of 3 companies. i am using legion 5 laptop, AMD RYGEN 7 4800H CPU (with Radeon RX Vega 7) GPU + NVIDIA RTX 2060 LAPTOP GPU running with enscape 3.1 preview 10 software. I'm still trying to figure out why

UPDATE
Maybe my problem is completely solved, I have rebooted many times and Ray tracing + DLSS is always ticked. The problem is in AMD cpu, i have installed more driver software of AMD rygen 7 4800h cpu which is radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-21.6.2. 9 (Automatically detect and install updates for Radeon™ Graphics and Ryzen™ Chipset Drivers for Windows)
https://www.amd.com/en/support
After installing and rebooting 2 times. It looks like AMD drivers have completely ceded control of Enscape 3.1 to the NVIDIA RTX 2060.
