Hey everyone - I have a customer that's demonstrated install of 3.1 but the 3.0 UI is still displayed. I recommended he uninstall Enscape and reinstall 3.1. This did not solve the problem. Waiting for Support to advise. Please let us know if you have similar issue.

Hey Phil Read , I'm looking into it, thanks for the report - Can you if possible let him try a program called "Revo Uninstaller" to fully uninstall Enscape? It should usually of course not be necessary to install extra software to properly uninstall a previous version of Enscape, but that could do the trick in the meantime.

Thanks Demian - is the free version sufficent?

Yeah exactly, the free version should suffice indeed.

Same issue here, using Revit and can't see the Material Library or any changes to the Enscape Addon.
However, the problem with the previous release of Enscape crashing every time it opened seems to have been resolved.

Welcome to our Forum. I'm glad to hear about the latter part but regarding the first problem, can you also please try out the software mentioned above by me? The free unpaid version should suffice - please try that to completely uninstall Enscape before re-installing it again fresh.
Thanks!

Going to confirm (I think) we've got the same issue. I was thinking certain items weren't implemented in the Revit version, but then I saw a video of what the interface was supposed to look like. We're missing the whole Material Library & Editor portion. I've downloaded and installed twice. Also removal of the program via its normal interface (with reboots) and using the Revo installer above. THAT ended up removing some portion of my video drivers, which then gave me a 'new error' of an issue with a conflict between the mobo APU and the Quadro M4000 we have in our machines. Downloaded and installed new drivers seemed to fix that. Reinstalled Enscape (again), and have the same interface issue (see below).
Also seems a bit laggy in performance compared to the prior version.
Placing assests is... (I can't repeat those words here). a constant refresh and flashing of the window for... recalcing? (I only have two windows open!) -
For what it's worth, I ran into a similar issue when updating our users to 3.0 when it was released. Our IT management company has our user profiles restricted from installing software so I manually install updates through an admin profile (cumbersome, but we're a small group so meh). Installing the update while logged in as the admin would only update Enscape in the admin profile and every user would remain on the previous. Oddly enough, after the update was installed in the admin profile the users could then run the update individually without being denied due to insufficient privileges, then their Enscape would be updated. I have yet to roll out 3.1 to the team so I am not sure if this kludge process will be necessary again.

Just installed 3.1 over 3.0 for Revit2020. The Enscape after 5% loading of any simplest project crushes with no consequences for Revit. Please have a look.

Thanks for the further input - given that Admin permissions seem to have at least helped DYoung , can you also please try re-installing Enscape for all user? This ensures that the installation runs with all the required permissions without restrictions. Should that still not do the trick I'll escalate this accordingly.

I'm sorry to hear about that - since this is a different problem in this case please kindly send in a Feedback report for sure as well with log files! This is the quickest and most efficient way to help you once since it sends over all the information we require from your machine/logs.

Yes, Demian, I did it already this morning. No answer yet, probably need to roll it back for now to the previous version.

Unfortunately, though I managed to load the project onto another machine with Enscape 3.1 and can see the scene, while editing the materials in scope of bumping adjustments it crashes easily.
