I have placed a decal on a window. When I rotate and look at it from inside the room, the decal disappears and only shows part of it where the background is an object. Please see the screenshot attached. My hunch is this is a bug rather than wrong settings. I've used decal on walls and other locations before, and Escape were able to show it with no problem.
Enscape cannot show Revit Decal when it's background is on horizon

I believe this is an unrelated issue to the alpha map problem outlined in this thread.
I have come across this issue in earlier versions of Enscape.
My theory on how Enscape handles decals from Revit is that Enscape makes the decal inherit the material properties of the surface it is place upon. So it won't change the opacity of the surface but instead only change the color of the surface.
What would would be great is if you can have a decal be opaque but also clipped with the alpha texture when placed on a transparent surface.

Thank you for pointing that out!
I have tested this as well and this is also still occurring in our latest preview.
I have forwarded this to our developers and will keep you updated.
Thank you for reporting this.

Hi Shah_Ha and Vadim Maltsev
Our developers have taken a look, and this is not a bug, it's a feature.
Decals exist to be placed as billboards onto geometry.
It's like a sticker - if there is no wall to stick it onto, you cannot have the sticker floating in the air. Revit (Enscape) decals are very similar - there should be some geometry where you can place the decal, like a sticker.
