Does Enscape Support Ray Tracing by AMD Radeon?

That is correct, we do not support Radeon Rays yet but we are looking into supporting this in one of our next versions.

OK. we have version 3.2, but as I understand it has failed ;)... I can't wait to progress on this and am ready to test a solution that will bring the desired effect. Our projects are very detailed and heavy, and they are perfect for VR and thank you for that ... real reflections in stationary shots are enough to be happy, because in VR it is not so necessary and it would probably burden the scene.

in most scenes where there are no mirrors it looks ok, but sometimes the projects include interiors where the mirror is one of the main elements and then the lack of proper reflections is very visible

Hi Demian, I'm considering to purchase an AMD Radeon card with the RDNA 2 architecture, which does ray-tracing. Can you confirm that Enscape now supports ray-tracing with this kind of card, same as it does with Nvidia cards? Thank you.

Hi Demian, I am now able to confirm that the following Enscape set-up supports ray-tracing:

- Apple Mac Pro 2019

- With AMD Radeon Pro W6800X GPU (Apple MPX module)

- Enscape 3.4 on Revit 2020

- Windows 10 on Boot Camp

Performance is smooth and ray-traced shadows and reflections look great.
