So, just trying to clarify. The current suggestions are:

• Enable removal of "Enscape" from name sequence
• Enable removal of Timestamp from name sequence
• Allow names to follow viewport names
• Allow Option for Custom prefix (Project name, Client name, etc)

Am I missing anything? And is it correct that and that the goal is V3.3 or v3.4? Excited to be able to make use of batch function.

That's correct (as long as all these points are deemed feasible). The plan is to add this functionality with 3.4, but it could be made available in a preview beforehand as well.

It would really be a great help to be able to set the image naming. Currently I use an image manager to batch rename images from the default "Enscape"

Are you looking for more renaming control or something different than what was provided in the script provided already in the thread (from robotopera)?

This feature will present options to instead select the project name, company name, or simply a name of your choice instead. We're of course still fine-tuning the plans behind this function so there may be even more options available as well.

Overall this is something we plan to add with 3.4, or if time and development resources allow for it perhaps even 3.3 (Or a preview prior). No specific promises I can make yet besides that this will be surely added! Thank you all very much for the input again.

I'm afraid not. You may want to refer to this workaround for now. Please also make sure to forward your inquiry directly to product management via our portal, this way they can track the further demand for this.
