It's fantastic to have the settings in the Enscape UI, but please also keep them in SketchUp. Sometimes you want to do some edits without Enscape is running. Please also copy the material editor to the Enscape UI so you can easily tweak materials from inside the render. Of course don't remove the material editor from SketchUp just give the opportunity to edit from Enscape render window.

By all means have the additional ability to ‘activate’ the materials from the new bar but Please don’t have the materials dialog in or on the Enscape window, or any dialog for that matter.
Talking about the materials dialog; in SketchUp if the colour controls had the same setup as SU’s then I’d never need to use both of them when making edits. What I’d like to see is the 3 sliders which can switch between RGB, HLS etc by default, not the grid picker. Often I have the colour nearly right and all I want to do is make it slightly darker/lighter etc.

After installing version 2.9 Enscape did not work anymore in Sketchup 2016 or 2017. Is that true?
After de-installing 2.9 en installing an older version everything worked fine again.

Please help, has anyone succeeded bringing video texture in revit painted surface? I tried with mp4 video, but dont know why it came out with green screen (see attachment below). I dont know if I post this question in the correct thread. If anyone know please help!
In the first instance, please make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. If that doesn't help, can you let me know if this happens with every video you try to use as a texture?

2.9 does not officially support these versions anymore. 2.9 and upward will support SketchUp 2018, 2019, 2020 only I'm afraid. This is mainly due to technical reasons and the fact that each year a new version of SketchUp releases of course, so we slowly have to let go of the older ones.

The toolbar in the Enscape window has changed to allow for three new entries:- Minimap toggle (can still be toggled 'M' key)
- Projection mode selection
- Spectator mode selection (walk / fly mode, can still be toggled via 'Space'key)

The Visual Settings editing UI / dialog has been overhauled and restructured:
Sliders now have integrated input fields and several settings have been moved to the correct domain (check out the 'Atmosphere' and 'Sky' tabs).Subsequent previews will also add improved preset handling and selection.

The current roadmap is to be found here. No really blockbuster changes like animation, but every step is one!
Keep up the work Enscape team and hopefully more great additions will be added to the 3.0 roadmap!
I see the competition got their new version out as well, I hope Enscape can get to that quality in the future as well (animationlike). -
