Here's the Release Notes for the latest Enscape v3.1 Preview - Version 4.
Please refer to this article for instructions on how to download the Preview version.
Note: Preview versions are not production proven, so make sure to observe the Known Issues set out below as well as in the attached .pdf document and please report any other issues back to us.
What’s included:
- New Features:
- Revit 2022 Support
-
Favorite View Navigation and View Transitions
The ability to navigate between Favorites Views via the Page Up/Down keys has been restored. Views will cycle back to the start of the listed Views when reaching the last Favorite View in the list, as was the case with the previous implementation of this feature.
Note: Geometry changes are still applied when switching through Favorite Views via this method and it acts the same as when selecting Views manually inside the View Manager. Therefore, this functionality can be considered an additional shortcut.
Additionally, we also restored the visible camera transition when transitioning to a different View from within the same project. This was requested by several users in our forums in order to provide spatial context in between the different Views.
-
Material Package Import
As a logical next step after the addition of generic import/export in the last Preview version, we extended the Enscape Material Editor functionality to allow users to import multiple material packages (previously exported materials ".matpkg") which will then be created for you in your project after the import process ends.
Note: Textures that are being applied as part of any imported material package are currently placed in a Temp directory. This will be changed in subsequent Previews and will ultimately be available for the final 3.1 release as configurable option for the user.
-
Custom Asset Editor Overhauled
We have applied our new look and feel to the Custom Asset Editor to match the new Material Editor User Interface.
