  • Here's the Release Notes for the latest Enscape v3.1 Preview - Version 4.

Please refer to this article for instructions on how to download the Preview version.

Note: Preview versions are not production proven, so make sure to observe the Known Issues set out below as well as in the attached .pdf document and please report any other issues back to us.

    What’s included:

    - New Features:

    • Revit 2022 Support

    • Favorite View Navigation and View Transitions
The ability to navigate between Favorites Views via the Page Up/Down keys has been restored. Views will cycle back to the start of the listed Views when reaching the last Favorite View in the list, as was the case with the previous implementation of this feature.

Note: Geometry changes are still applied when switching through Favorite Views via this method and it acts the same as when selecting Views manually inside the View Manager. Therefore, this functionality can be considered an additional shortcut.

Additionally, we also restored the visible camera transition when transitioning to a different View from within the same project. This was requested by several users in our forums in order to provide spatial context in between the different Views.

    • Material Package Import
As a logical next step after the addition of generic import/export in the last Preview version, we extended the Enscape Material Editor functionality to allow users to import multiple material packages (previously exported materials ".matpkg") which will then be created for you in your project after the import process ends.

      Note:
Textures that are being applied as part of any imported material package are currently placed in a Temp directory. This will be changed in subsequent Previews and will ultimately be available for the final 3.1 release as configurable option for the user.

    • Custom Asset Editor Overhauled
We have applied our new look and feel to the Custom Asset Editor to match the new Material Editor User Interface.

Enjoy the fresh coat of paint :)

  • hello dear Enscape team can I know what month you can implement weather conditions Enscape program rain snow hail hail

There really isn't an estimation for that feature I'm afraid, no forecast as of yet ;) - I've forwarded your feedback as another upvote to the existing topic to provide diverse weathers in Enscape, thanks!

  • Please bring back the Views Tab, the Page Up/Page Down still results in having to deal with Enscape changing the active document and having to reload. It adds such an unnecessary amount of loading time and makes 3.0 and beyond basically unusable with how much time is wasted waiting for everything to reload rather than just being able to jump to different camera positions.

  • Hello!

As the assets, could we have some material preset?

    Thank you

    L.

It's not something which is planned to be implemented soon but I'll forward your feedback.

I'll forward that as well, thank you. We're also still looking into a way to disable the geometry reloading per view.

while putting trees on big site taking lot of time ..please add some feature so all the tree and grass will placed easily on the massing

What CPU/GPU is built into your system? Please also make sure that your graphics card drivers are fully up to date. Also, you can try lowering the "Rendering Quality" in the Main tab of our Visual Settings. That may perhaps help with the placement performance too.

  • Hello. It would be very interesting for the Enscape workflow to make us manage to edit the materials / select / capture by the program itself, it would optimize the flow 100%. Another proposal would be to accept .skp and .dae files. And the seats created by the user could have levels of 2d graphical details, in Archicad for example, when we create a seat it becomes a block in the floor plan, and it could have the same design of the 3d model, so we don't waste time making two layouts, one with enscape blocks and the other more technical.

    Thanks

  • I am not sure if there is already a feature to accomplish this but, it would be very helpful to be able to adjust the time of day setting per SketchUp scene just by right-clicking the scene in SketchUp and clicking update after changing the TOD in Enscape. Right now, I believe the only way to set the TOD per scene is by creating a whole new scene that captures the current TOD set in that view.

    Thanks!
