Will a Quadro RTX graphics card be able to "activate" the RTX capabilities of Enscape? Thanks

jnurnberger , yes indeed - you will be able to make use of our raytracing functionalities as well as DLSS which counteracts the increased performance cost of these.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response Demian Gutberlet
I wasn't quite sure if Quadro vs GeForce made a difference in that aspect. But as long as RTX is in that family and it is enabled in Enscape we are ok then.
Do you have any opinions on Quadro vs GeForce for SketchUp/Enscape use? Thanks

jnurnberger , GeForce cards are arguably "better" when it comes to price/performance ratio - You pay quite a lot more for the extra VRAM which Quadro cards have, which is pretty much overkill even if you plan on exporting 4k renderings for the most part, especially if you go for something like the RTX 3080 or 3090 which has plenty of VRAM as well.
If budget isn't a problem at all though, you can also go for a Quadro card though - Do you have a specific model in mind?

Demian Gutberlet , No specific Quadro cards yet. My firm is looking to replace some PCs and I was wondering about the pros and cons of the two cards. We have an RTX 3090 for a presentation PC which runs awesome as expected, but we will probably get a few new RTX 3060s for personal PCs.

jnurnberger , if you plan on getting those NVIDIA RTX 3060s, make sure to go for the 12GB model if possible. It's not that 8GB wouldn't usually suffice, but especially if you plan on exporting 4k-8k renderings out of more complex scenes (or working with larger scenes in general) more VRAM is recommended.
