Enscape Assets in SketchUp: Manipulate them to suit

REMINDER! If you encounter any issues with Enscape (e.g. crashes, installation problems) or your subscription please reach out to our dedicated support team directly through the Help Center or by using the Support button as detailed HERE! Thank you for your understanding.
  • Hi,
I use the trees in the asset library alot, they're really nice but Id like to be able to manipulate them ( trunk width, canopy height, mass etc) but I can't seem to do it with any real certainty. I'm sure there's a very simple solution that perhaps I'm missing it. Any ideas/ tricks happily recieved. Thanks guys!

You can make use of the SketchUp scaling tools to modify any assets of your choice, or use the native tools provided by us when you open the Asset Library inside of Enscape itself - Besides that, there is no way to adjust individual parts natively, but it is possible to explode the models in SketchUp, which can then also be modified freely.

If you don't already have it, go check out Podium Browser from SUPodium/Catalog. They have full 3D model assets you can download directly within SketchUp and manipulate just like any other geometry. They just won't load in as the white low poly, render-only assets like Enscape has and are full geometry. I use both for different things as needed.
