Solo , this behaviour should already be improved in our latest preview.
To install our latest preview:
-> Head into the about window by clicking the About button -> Click Visit download area -> Click on the hyperlink right in the first sentence below our Download button -> Now that you're on our preview page, just click Download -> You now have our latest preview which you can simply install, as it will overwrite your existing (latest) release.
Please be so kind as to check if this helps already! Thanks a lot in advance.

I have the latest preview version, but it's not loading, I have been waiting more than 10 minutes for scene to load and it's not a big scene.

-
After process bar reached 100% I sent feedback through app
-
thx, looks like the problem that I just fixed, will be released in preview soon (probably tomorrow)

I had problems with "ultra" too, try a lower level. Also I have seen the noise.
-
... still the same splotchyness for me with all interiors so far and throughout all used render settings
such as resolutions or quality.
(however Solo - a wonderful rendering so far
)
-
-
... not sure if that fits here too? - sometimes I also get similar strange results with exteriors as well, then rather "striped" disturbances as shown below
Solo Performance should be back to normal in 2.3.3.1234-gbf336d6 preview version
hi Simon, does this mean going to this older version avoids these splotches?
-
In the current preview, multibounce GI is only active on exported images, hence the brightness difference. Maybe we can add a slider to increase the amount of GI samples for scenes with very small emissive and bright surfaces.
-
Thomas Willberger Oh yes, please. My scenes seems to be difficult to calculate often and a slider would be a dream. Maybe at the advanced options. I don't use the VR output, only images and animations, so I don't need a 3s output, a longer render time is no problem.
-
I haven't even understood Thomas Schander´s answer but obviously it must mean something good ...

Please let me know once this is released. Will this release also address the splotchy artifacts in low lit scenes?
-
-
Solo I think Simon indicated that he addressed it already in the newest preview.
I have the most recent update, Enscape loads faster now but no improvement with the splotches

But how could I adjust scene, if I don't know the final lighting result? So, it will be like at the offline renderer, the user needs to press "render" to see what he get?
