Totally understandable that slowly after all these votes and waiting many are hoping that this will be implemented finally of course - all I can say for now is that it's coming, that is sure. Just probably not with 3.1 but rather 3.2 or a preview beforehand.
So we do have to ask for a bit more patience, but no matter how much demand this feature will get from here, we'll implement it eventually.
