Hi Everyone!
It is a pity we cannot have SPOTLIGHT in the Enscape version for MAC.
Is there any chance to have those soon?
In other hands, is there any other way to create spot?
Thanks.
Ciao!

stefano.isola , thanks for your question.
While it's certainly planned to have our dedicated lights (which are available for the Windows version) implemented, I cannot say exactly when that will happen yet. You can still sign up for our Mac newsletter here (near the bottom of the page) too though and receive any further updates as early as possible.
Hi - I know that sphere lights are not yet available for Enscape's Mac version, but with the new V-Ray 6 release, I was hoping that I could add sphere lights using V-Ray and then switch over to Enscape and have those sphere lights show up in my Enscape rendering... however, I tried it, and the lights that lit up in V-Ray appear to be non-existent in my Enscape render. What's confusing is that I have a couple of light fixtures that I downloaded from the 3D Warehouse which contain sphere lights, and those lights actually show up in Enscape as glowing spheres. Any idea how this is possible, and if there's any way possible to make my other sphere lights from V-Ray show up in Enscape?
The V-Ray - Enscape compatibility is still a one way street for now though, isn't it? I wouldn't expect this to work yet.
Maybe you can use a regular sphere with emissive material?
I could try an explanation but you best read it here: https://blog.enscape3d.com/bes…ive-materials-in-sketchup
Hi Demian Gutberlet !
Any news about the sphere (in my first comment I wrote "spot" instead sphere, sorry!) and line light in Enscape Mac Version?
Thanks!

Not at the moment - You will be notified via our newsletter and/or release notes once these additional lights have been added.
Hello. Demian Gutberlet
I have a new Mac version of Enscape (for sketchup).
I have only spot and rectangle light (no other buttons for line, sphere, etc) in the little window.
That's a problem for me cause it is no possible to make interior renders.
Moreover, rect line doesn't work correctly : only a part of the rectangle emits lighting (about 2/3 of the shape).
Could you help me?
Thank's in advance
Roberto
Hello Roberto-RD10
Two available light types is the limitation of current release. There will be lots of updates in the next release, however, release date is not public yet.
Regarding rect light - could you please post a screenshot so we could tell for sure?
ok for the MAC version :-/
Concerning my rectangle light problem : in attached, two screen captures. You can see :
- rectangle light in sketchup is 3m long
- in Enscape I have only 1-1,5m of light (with round spectrum)
Let me know if it is normal or what's the solution.
Thanks in advance
Roberto
This is by design. Please refer to knowledge base article: https://learn.enscape3d.com/bl…tchup_lighting/#rect_disc
