You are right in saying that Enscape isnt set up for product rendering (and there are certainly good, but very expensive alternatives that are) but it is possible.
I did these a while back but essentially, it is about placing your 'product' into a studio setting. Software like Keyshot for example does this very well but with Enscape, I found the best way is to model a room/box and set up Enscape Lighting as if it were a real studio space.
This model can be used over and over, allowing you to simply place your product in the space. Lighting strength, colour or rotation can be done to get the look your after but if you want more natural 'outside' reflections, the alternative is to use a HDRI.

There’s years of my work with SketchUp, Enscape, Keyshot and Lumion, all of which have advantages and disadvantages over one another. I actually did these in Keyshot originally to provide me with a benchmark and then tried with Enscape. It did take a lot more effort but the final outcome was pretty much identical.
Like you, my primary for the last 25+ years has been architecture with some product work here and there. The sample images you uploaded were done in Keyshot and other ‘high end’ products so you may struggle to achieve the same result but that’s not to say it’s impossible.
Enscape isn’t a ‘one product for all’ but it’s certainly a damn fine product (and cheaper than Keyshot!)
Example images here showing the studio model set up. In general, you have to play around a lot with HDRI, lighting, time of day etc. to get the look you are after.
This was done as a test for the exact same reasons you find yourself with and while happy with the outcome, it showed me that Keyshot for product design (and for some people far more talented than me) hyper-realism, is by far the easiest and most effective product.
Everything else (currently), just takes too much effort!
