Enscape Compatibility with V-Ray for Revit: Join Beta Testing!

REMINDER! If you encounter any issues with Enscape (e.g. crashes, installation problems) or your subscription please reach out to our dedicated support team directly through the Help Center or by using the Support button as detailed HERE! Thank you for your understanding.
  • With the release of today's beta, you can transition your Enscape assets, materials, and cloud setup to V-Ray 6 for Revit.

    What can you expect?

Same as for V-Ray 6 for SketchUp and Rhino, the following information from Enscape will be imported:

    • beta Library assets - All compatible Enscape library assets* that are placed in the Revit model are rendered with V-Ray without any additional settings setup. Place the assets in Enscape and render either with Enscape or with V-Ray.

If you decide to create ultra-realistic renderings you no longer need to start over from scratch, by deleting all the Enscape entourage and placing new V-Ray assets.

    • beta Materials - With a button click, Enscape materials can either be automatically converted to V-Ray and rendered, or they can be promoted to the V-Ray Asset Editor where they can be further enhanced with V-Ray parameters.

The Procedural Clouds feature you love in Enscape is now available also in V-Ray. For the Beta program, the clouds won’t be automatically imported. So you would have to re-create the cloudy skies in V-Ray yourself.

But the official release, which is planned for December 7 2022, will easily bring the procedural clouds designed in Enscape to V-Ray 6 so that you can tweak them further.

    • official release Clouds settings - The cloudy sky which has been configured in Enscape is transferred to V-Ray with a button click.
