Enscape keeps crashing, please help.

    Enscape constantly crashes. My GPU is a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080. Im Using Sketchup 2022, with Enscape 3.4.4+94564. Need help immediately, thanks!

    Whenever you generally experience any crashing with Enscape, feel free to directly submit a feedback report as detailed here. Doing so will transfer log files and machine information which we can use to troubleshoot this as quickly as possible.

    I have Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.

    I am using Rhino 7 with Enscape 3.4.4 (just downloaded)

    I get the vulkan error. Se screendump.



    I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed.

    Welcome to our Forum.


    As mentioned above, receiving a dedicated feedback report with logs is usually always most helpful for troubleshooting - In this case, simply press the first button in the prompt to "Close Enscape and send feedback" and you will hear back from our technical support team very soon.


    Meanwhile you can also try disabling ray-tracing via the General Settings (Enscape menu in the CAD solution) like so:


    Doing so can help especially when your scene is complex / detailed or large generally, but you will receive an even more detailed reply after we were able to check your report.

  • I have been having major issues recently with project deadlines closing in! Enscape now crashes when any of the hardware features are turned on.

    I find it crazy that Enscape is so expensive yet its the most unstable software I have ever used and is always 50/50 wether a project will work or crash!


    I have submitted multiple crash reports and heard nothing back. Mirror reflections are also still a major issue and its getting to a point where i'm embarrassed to submit work to clients where mirrors are present.


    All my Titan RTX drivers are up to date and windows has no pending updates. Today i tried 3-4 different versions of Enscape, all with different issues!

    For my own sanity and clients expectations I may have to stop using Enscape which is a real shame. :thumbdown:

  • Hi there, I have the same problem here. When I open a Sketch-up project and after that opening the Enscape software. The software SKetch-up and Enscape crashes by projects of 50 mb or or higher. Then I see a buggsplash from Sketch-up.


    Small projects works a little bit. If I use different tags in Sketch-up on the same time, I got the same problems as I had earlier (bugplash)


    I have Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.


    I am using Sketch-up 2023 or 2022 with Enscape 3.5


    Please can u help me.

    I'm getting the same issue, also running an RTX 3080.


    It seems to be related to "hardware accelerated raytracing" when using the latest drivers from Nvidia, even on the simplest of scenes.


    Any ETA on a fix from Enscape on this?

    I'm of course very sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues.


    Right away, please make sure that you do not have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed as long as you're also making use of ray-tracing:

    If you still run into this behavior afterward, you can submit a further report as detailed in the post itself.


    PennineDesign , you also should've gotten a response back from our technical support team via the feedback report you've submitted. Make sure to please also roll back your NVIDIA drivers. Also, even though this feature is available in previews so far only, you can check out Preview 14 here which should improve mirror reflections. If you still experience unwanted behavior after the steps above (in terms of mirror reflections and crashing), please let me know.

    Enscape version 3.4.4+ isn't as stable for us as Enscape-3.3.1+75071.msi .


    If latest version of Enscape is crashing we downgrade to Enscape-3.3.1+75071.msi for the specific user and many crashing issues get resolved.

    Feel free to still also send in a report with logs as I've mentioned to you before - If you've already sent us one no worries, although I cannot find any tied to your e-mail yet for example. You also won't need to upgrade to 3.4.4 again to send in the report, as we'll still receive all the required logs despite having 3.3.1 reinstalled on your machine. I appreciate your cooperation.

    Enscape keeps crashing when starting it in Sketchup Pro 2021 on Windows 10. I am using a free trial as I only need it for the coming week since I have a deadline. An error while rendering message keeps popping up and it doesn't open and then it crashes. It is saying that the GPU is using NVIDIA. I don't know what that means or what I should do next. Can you help please as I really need to work with Enscape. Thanks

    O arquivo abre no Sketchup, mas quando tento abrir o Enscape, dá erro.

    O erro que falei, é igual ao erro apresentado e descrito nos posts anteriores de outros usuários. Simplesmente o ficheiro não abria ao carregar em Enscape.

    Since this behavior can occur due to multiple reasons we'll still require that feedback report as detailed in my last reply - This way we can let you know why the project seems to crash in Enscape 3.4.

  • Same here. Continuous crashing. All the time......


    Like every 15 minutes or less, constantly. For the past year or more.


    Enscape and AMD do not work together it seems.


    Its not even a large model, just a house with some planting and materials. Its getting beyond ridiculous.

    Any updates? I am sending my logs but not getting any feedback or assistance? Issues are ongoing and costing us a lot of time

    I am sorry to hear you have not heard back from us via any of your feedback reports yet.


    As a next step would you be so kind as to briefly share the e-mail address used in the feedback submission form before you were submitting said report(s)? Via a direct message ideally for confidentially. Then I can check our system to see whether or not we have received them, because at the moment there are none tied specifically to the e-mail you are using to log into this Forum.
