Ok great. Thanks Demian.
In that case, can I tag on to this discussion how best to get Enscape views to match the Revit view? At least as a workaround I can composite the exports.
I've tried to match the views but to no avail.

Hey vgeorgiou , I'm afraid, there is currently no direct way to match Revit's viewport output with the output of Enscape. In this case, it is a matter of trial and error.
Create a View via Revit or Enscape, select that View in Revit via the Project Browser and in Enscape via the view drop down menu of your Enscape ribbon so that the camera position/perspective is matching, adjust the Field of View in the Enscape Settings, the general window size (you can overlap the Enscape window over the Revit viewport) and then you should achieve what you're looking for. Please also make sure that the resolution in the Capture tab of the Settings is set to "Window".

Thanks again.
Is this a feature under development? It would be incredibly useful as you can see. In any case something to add to the feature board.

It's possible to use dynamo to model a subsample of a linked point cloud in Revit, creating and assigning materials to the points based on their RGB values. It's very processor heavy and takes a while but the results can be pretty cool...(turn off auto exposure)

+ 1 for pointcloud display!

+1 here for point cloud display and interactivity here as well. I have begun using point cloud scans of existing buildings in my workflow (very economical way of getting accurate as-built models made) and it would be great to have a way of showing a mix of 'before' and 'after.' Thanks!

+1 me too

Added your upvotes, thanks guys!

the addition of the point cloud visualization would be a real benefit in u scan to bim workflow, it would be a considerable help !
Would love to see this feature !

If pointcloud vizualization and BIM data would be available in a distributable exe, I would have many happy clients.
-
Thank you both, I've forwarded your upvotes to reflect the further demand for this implementation.
