Hello all. I tried the latest Enscape 3.5 with revit using a 3d connexion space mouse compact. Stand alone Revit works perfectly with space mouse. Once the Enscape environment is opened revit's 3d model becomes unstable and move quickly out of axis with slight touch of space mouse compact. The only way to bring back the 3d mode in revit is reopening the same file. In Enscape environment the lock horizon feature in 3d connexion plugin is not responding to the changes . Can we expect a quick-fix as we are not able to use revit in rhythm with Enscape,

Thanks for replying. Here is the zip file containing logs. Also added the enscape revit and revit standalone configurations

1 more thing to add. this happens mostly when we use enscape simultaneously with revit having orthogaphic mode.

Thank you for sending these over!

Any update joshradle
Thank you for sending those logs over - Everything has been forwarded to our developers for troubleshooting already as this is a known behavior now and we will get back once there is a solution or at least some further news to share.
I appreciate your patience and let me know just in case anything else comes up meanwhile.
Carlos Medina , thank you as well for the input and patience, please stay tuned for another update here soon.

Thank you for the update. Will keep an eye on this post!

I also have lost the lock horizon function. Additionally it makes no difference whether I have it set to camera or object mode etc... All functions act as object mode instead of camera which means you cannot turn around on the spot, These two issues make it even more unusable than it has become since the major change with loss of walking collision mode. It's just not usable at all.

Once the Enscape environment is opened revit's 3d model becomes unstable and move quickly out of axis with slight touch of space mouse compact.
I have had this happening for two years. I feel your pain.
The only workaround that I have found is that I dedicated 3D views for Enscape and for Revit.
I never open the 3D view intented for Revit in Enscape and this way they stay fine.

@Demian @Enscape
Because of the bug above I have seperate 3D view for Revit only and for Enscape only. But I found that this is a good practice in larger project anyway, even if this bug wouldn't exist, because Revit and Enscape have different optimal visibility settings.
*However*, it is cumbersome to manage the fact that some 3D view should never be opened in Enscape. Currently I am prefixing the name of Revit-only 3D view with something highly visibly like X___ to make sure the go to the bottom of the list in Enscape's View Management. It would be great if we had a way to exclude certain 3D models from Enscape's View Management. Or maybe the other way araund, explicitly tag the 3D model which are for Enscape and only those show up in View Management.

We are currently still waiting on 3DConnexion to also implement a fix from their side with their next driver update release in particular when it comes to this particular problem which others experience as well. They have identified the cause internally already and said fix will be come with the 10.8.15 Windows Driver Release soon.
Alongside just FYI, also to others in this thread if you haven't done so, we provide local config files which can simply be installed to the 3DConnexion local config location (%AppData%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg) to ensure proper Enscape default configurations with buttons and everything else:
https://drive.google.com/file/…YX88BXeLbRuHNRf89GlY/view
These configs also change the default navigation mode to free camera, which should be the most intuitive way to navigate in Enscape. This will also be the default navigation mode after the next 3DConnexion driver release.
I hope that offers some additional clarity. I appreciate your further patience and understanding.

Just update to their 10.8.15 driver and the behavoir is exactly the same. When opening a Revit view in Enscape the view becomes unusable in Revit. I still have to use the workaround to have dedicate Enscape and Revit 3D views, which works fine, but require careful clicking.
Maybe we are not talking about the same bug?

Is this an issue with 3DConnexion - Enscape, regardless of what CAD Package? It seems to be from reading the forums. Do the same issues exist if using ArchiCAD? I was about to buy a SpaceMouse Wireless, but its use in Enscape would also be pretty important to me.
