V3.5: Why is the "deactivate Licence"-Button missing?

REMINDER! If you encounter any issues with Enscape (e.g. crashes, installation problems) or your subscription please reach out to our dedicated support team directly through the Help Center or by using the Support button as detailed HERE! Thank you for your understanding.
  • Hello Forum,

within the past Versions it was possible to simply deactivate the Licence by pressing the Button in the Licence-Screen. But this Button is no longer available. Only way to remove the Licence is, to remove it. And to re-activate a Licence, it´s now necessary to fill in the Licence-Key. Why is that?

    Thanks in Advance,

    Greetings Peter

  • Hello,
I have the same problem with the Archicad 26. There is no 'Deactivate' or 'Activate' button in new User License center (please refer to the screenshot)
Because of that I was forced to remove the license from my office computer with Enscape updated to the 3.5 version to use it to the laptop with 3.4 version.

And that was before I updated the laptop to Enscape 3.5.... At the moment of the update, the license was deactivated on the laptop. So when I tried to move the license from my PC by removing the key and entering it at the laptop - I ended up with deactivated license with no way to activate it, because there is just no such button, while the Help section shows that it should be there.
To be honest, this is a completely bizarre experience and not the most pleasant finding before the client presentation.
Hope, there is a quick fix for this interface bug as it is impeding the work process.
Would really appreciate if the developers could address this issue.
    Thanls
PS: Honestly, it would be much more convenient to have the online license/user cabinet with the ability to switch licences and revoke them from it.

Thank you both very much for the report - I can assure you that the "Deactivate" button will find its way into the corresponding dialogue window again with our upcoming smaller update to Enscape rather soon.

I again appreciate the feedback and if there is anything else that comes up please let me know anytime.

    Hello Demian,

I am a student and downloaded the 14 days free trial of enscape for use in Revit. I installed it but it shows like a license has been expired and it does not allow me to remove it. How do I proceed?

Hi ElisavetD , in this case your trial time might be expired already if you've (or some else) installed Enscape on that specific machine before.

If you wish to receive a trial renewal though you can also simply reach out to our support team as detailed here to request another 14 days, as we do not process trial resets via the Forum anymore. :)

Let me know in case you run into any issues during this process.

Many thanks on your quick response.

I forwarded an email on the request type as a license management. Is that correct?
