Just to add some clarification (in case anyone wasn't aware fully), we currently do not officially support transparent video textures so trying any "workarounds" will unfortunately end in faulty results.
I'll definitely make sure to bring this topic up once more internally for discussion though to see if there's anything we can do in the future, and I can understand the confusion as this was temporarily possible to some extend with 3.2, but not current releases.
I appreciate your feedback and sending me the file itself.
