Revit Material editor has an option to specify a material as tile and assign grout and stacking layout (without using "bumps" or "cutouts"). When I make a tile material using this feature the grout line are not shown in Enscape. I can see the grout line in “ Realistic View “ mode and when I render it, but I can’t see it Enscape (see attached photos). Any idea how to solve this?

Hey estaki thanks for getting in contact with us!
Procedural textures, as provided by Revit, are not currently supported by Enscape. Any textures you'd like to see in Enscape have to be fed in as image files.Although we'd love to include the ability to interpret Revit's procedural textures to Enscape, unfortunately this won't be possible in the near future.
I still hope my answer has been helpful. Don't hesitate to contact us again if you've got any further questions we may assist you with! -

Exactly, unless if it's the materials bitmap

It's really time to finally resolve this issue and enable existing material features of revit instead of developing additional material features for other software (sketchup...). That's just my two cents...

just been learning some stuff about procedural textures; as much as the asset library is cool, I think I would rather have had textures than models.

Hi Vincent,
This render limitation really needs to changed in Enscape.
-
That is correct.
Your voices are being heard. I'll further upvote the corresponding feature request to support procedural types in the future. Thank you all for the feedback!

Agreed.
Ps. I don't work for Enscape. I'm a user like you.
