I've just downloaded the free trial to see how this works, and every time I try to open the app it shuts down, so I can't even get to first base of using this thing

    Welcome to our Forum.

Right away can you please ensure that your system meets our requirements? You'll find them listed here:

    https://learn.enscape3d.com/bl…base/system-requirements/

If so, can you kindly let me know what GPU you're currently trying to use with Enscape? And if it's supported, you can also submit us a feedback report with log files so that we can troubleshooting this further:

Thank you in advance for any further replies.

I'm using a MAC version 12.3 OS monterey

    I though I downloaded the MAC version>

Thanks for that information. In that case please refer to our Mac system requirements here instead:

    https://learn.enscape3d.com/bl…ystem-requirements-macos/

And if your Mac meets those requirements, then please kindly submit a feedback report as well as detailed in my previous reply.

Thanks again once more in advance.

  • Thanks for replying so quickly!!! super grateful. It says that our system is not supported, which seems odd as its the most up to date. Is this why I can't open it. IF so is there a way around it. Sorry I'm such a noob at this stuff

I'm sorry to hear about that. To further clarify, even though your Os may be fully up to date and supported, you may for example just have a dedicated Intel CPU with on-board graphics installed in your Mac, which is simply not powerful enough to allow for navigation through your project via Enscape in real time.

If your system isn't supported and there is no chance to switch to a different Mac or even PC, you may perhaps look into an offline rendering solution like V-Ray for example. Although you'd miss out on the live navigation and quick rendering times, it would still be capable of producing great images in its own right.

Feel free to also share your exact Mac model name like found here, just to be one-hundred-percent certain your machine is not supported.

  • It's a super powerful machine so I'm not sure what's wrong. I just think I'm not super good at this stuff. It is a macbook pro new machine and very powerful so maybe I'm missing something

Thanks for the hardware overview. That machine should indeed be supported.
