Create Own Assets

  • Hi,

First and foremost, I love Enscape, you are truly doing something remarkable here especially for us Revit users.

My question - With the introduction of the Asset Library, I noticed that Enscape Assets are not actually RPC elements but are just generic imported meshes (turning the "Realistic" display mode won't actually display the same as it would once in Enscape). Is there a way we could create our own assets that behave this way? Like for example if we have obj files with materials applied, can we import the mesh in a Revit family, and then make it appear with the materials once in Enscape? At first I thought they were like 3D+ RPC's from Archvision, but I'm seeing they are not RPC files when I edit the families, so I'm hoping there's a way to do this.
