Importing Sketchup files into the Custom Asset Editor

REMINDER! If you encounter any issues with Enscape (e.g. crashes, installation problems) or your subscription please reach out to our dedicated support team directly through the Help Center or by using the Support button as detailed HERE! Thank you for your understanding.
  • What other formats did you have in mind? Every Sketchup object can be exported to a FBX or OBJ and then added as a custom asset. It its a extra step but doable.

  • The dream scenario would be if yiou could just (in any enscape app) just right click on a component and choose to open it in the asset editor.

Or even better. Apply all your Enscape material settings in the host app (sketchup/rhino etc) then right click to just add it to the Custom Asset Library and pick a category. Then you wouldn't need the editor.
