  • Hi all,

    I have been trying to create a video with moving object using Enscape. Now I can use python to create a for loop to move rhino geometry and ask Enscape to automaticaly export image in each loop. But what I missing is the command or the way to ask Enscape refresh as per rhino change. I found that when running a python script, enscape don't response to any change made in rhino.

    Doesn't any one know what is the command line to ask enscape to update? Or anyone has some other idea to workaround?

    Thanks

    I've also tried to render animation. The problem is, that Enscape needs some time to adapt itself to the changes. So in order for this to work, you need to make Rhino wait a bit. In my case it was a movement of a plattform in z axes. I've made a button for that. For me it worked, but it took really a lot of time to render frame by frame. You can take my mix of scripting and Macros and adapt it for your need:

    _Repeat

    _Move

    0,0,0

    0,0,0.01

    _EnscapeStartCommand

    _-RunScript

    (Option Explicit

    Call Main()

    Sub Main()

    Rhino.Sleep 10000

    End Sub)

    _EnscapeTakeScreenshotCommand

    _-RunScript

    (Option Explicit

    Call Main()

    Sub Main()

    Rhino.Sleep 20000

    End Sub)

  • Andrii Mogylnyi If I setup a Bongo animation and press "next tick" button than Enscape update is done immediately at Rhino 6. So, maybe a quicker update could be possible. Per screenshot shortcut and manual Bongo slider movement it's possible to get an exterior rendering done every 5s. Did you use Rhino 6?
