D5 render engine will have moving object in the next release, i hope enscape will have too, and i hope it is very soon.
Definitely adding my upvote too for animated objects. While the quality of Enscape animation is outstanding in my opinion and with creativity you can do without moving humans, things like moving trees and video materials (for TV scenes) will definitely add to the value of the software.
There is work going on in this area, but I cant be any more specific than that at present. I +3 up-voted the related story in our developer agenda to help highlight the demand for this.
Upvote from me too! Would be a great addition.

Thanks! Forwarding your feedback guys.
Looking forward to see this happen in a 2.X Version
My idea would be to have create animation by using native parameter, for example Door with Door-Opening-Parameter. then we can set on Frame 0:30 <0°> and on Frame 0:40 <110°> so that the door will open in the Video and we can create more realistic videos.
this will also work with all Families, we need something like a Storyboard, where we can add Families and Parameter should be changed during the Renderingprocess
dreeming about this possibilities in my homeoffice

heinrich.boldt Good idea, but consider that it should be applicable to all host applications. If Enscape does allow animation, I hope it is more generic in nature. That way, the same steps that we use to rotate a door on its z axis x degrees starting at frame 10 to y degrees at frame 40 could be applied to any object. This would a) make it more universal for host packages, and b) make it flexible to be capable of rotating any object in the scene.
While I hope Enscape will eventually allow for this type of animation I won't hold my breath. It will take significant effort, and this type of functionality exists nowhere else which indicates it may not be feasible.
As a workable, interim approach I suggest the following.....
.... there are already free animation packages out there (ie blender) and export formats that allow animation to be included (ie. fbx). Why not simply allow us to import that animation data? This same process could also be used for animated cameras.
If we wanted to make it easy to access for less experienced users an imported animated asset could be controlled within Enscape to start its "animation" at frame X. This would make it possible for either Enscape, or others, to offer "animated" library items, such as doors, which could be "controlled" inside of Enscape with minimal UI requirements.
+1 from me as well.
I work with conveyor systems, and while the Enscape renderings, panoramas, and walk-thrus have been a HUGE hit, there has been such a big demand to see boxes moving on the the conveyor. For so long I've looked for a real-time renderer like Enscape and I'm so excited to finally have something like it. Being able to move boxes or totes on a system would make it a complete dream-come-true software for me.
In the interim, my company is using Demo3D for this visualization. Demo3D is a wonderful software, but visually, it does not hold a candle to Enscape.
While I hope Enscape will eventually allow for this type of animation I won't hold my breath. It will take significant effort, and this type of functionality exists nowhere else which indicates it may not be feasible.
Lumion has a (relatively) robust animation system built into the engine. It allows for translation/rotation/scaling of objects over time based on their internal origin/axis. It can be a bit of a pain to use sometimes but it definitely works.
+1!
+1 for animation.. I used Fredo Animator but It didn't work with renderers (except for Kerkythea) so didn't use it a while...
Added your votes as well, thank you!
