I searched for Enscape for 3DsMax and was surprised because it doesn't exist... It would be awesome to have Enscape available for 3DsMax!

I'm afraid not - Please do not hold your breath as 3DS Max support is not something we plan to tackle anytime soon I am afraid.

It's frustrating, but thank you so much

@fhd...if you used vray for your render engine, you should try Chaos Vantage. It's like Enscape for MAX. Realtime renderer.

+1 这个组合是新的革命,我希望如此!

Extremely disappointing to hear this.
C'mon Chaos, lets get this done asap!

The usual workflow in architecture is Rhino with Revit then to 3dsmax for final rendering. While i like Sketchup it isn't really the tool of an architect unless you are doing home renevations etc. I keep seeing living room renders here. Without the 3dsmax support you are losing some of your clients. We can only use Enscape in early design stage because we can't get good results out of Revit with limited Revit library and default grass. But characteristics of Enscape is amazing. It has that stylish and soft look which can give amazing results with the support of 3dsmax because of high quality materials, furnitures and much better vegetation. For now we are stuck with D5 because of 3dsmax support. While i like D5 Renderer, i prefer less realistic yet more artistic images which Enscape can provide.

That's pretty general. Every workflow is different. In our office I would say 70/30. Most designers use Sketchup for their iterations before it goes into Revit. Rhino only used for more organic and parametric designs, then into Revit. I'm part of the last piece of the workflow receiving files from all of the above. Forced to work in skp so that animations can be done quickly. Skp drives me nuts, but have been able to generate some decent size projects and even importing some of my info from 3ds MAX using Transmutr. However, having Enscape for 3ds max would actually speed up my workflow since I wouldn't have to bounce around between apps. My current workaround now is just using Chaos Vantage instead of Enscape.

Yes, you are right. Workflow can be various, we used to have same workflow in our office yet they have really integrated Rhino into Revit even the normal walls can be parametric with a plugin called Rhino.Inside which is made by Rhino. So skp is not even installed anymore on our computers. Anyway kind of out of topic :D. Transmutr and Skatter are 2 powerful and amazing tools yet but why we should use them is the real question here. Just let us use Enscape with 3dsmax and there is no need for Transmutr. We are losing a lot of time too while trying to export Max objects to Skp. Nowadays time is money so we cant afford that. And in 3dsmax I can apply Quixel megascans materials or assets to my scene with 1 click with Bridge plugin but in Skp or Revit i have to assign maps one by one. Also our Revit files work perfectly with 3dsmax and i can link them so i can change anything in the design during the rendering phase. We are also using Chaos Vantage because of those reasons. Chaos Vantage is amazing and gives great results but really slow compared to Enscape especially in animations and it has no exe support.

Yep...I agree. Slow to render animations compared to Enscape, but faster than if we were to render them straight out of 3ds MAX. Stills are quick. Enscape does hold the monopoly on speed.

Hi LiTeL and Lucas Garnacho
Thank you for the upvotes.
You can now also forward your feedback directly to our product management team as seen here, and see what is in development or under consideration.

yoni2305 , thanks a lot for your feedback.
We're aware of the demand for a 3DS Max Plugin, so as demand grows further and further we can definitely consider an implementation! I've also given the existing topic on our agenda a further upvote through your voice. Finally, it's of course definitely not a stupid question, but rather a reasonable request.
I have been using 3ds Max since 1998. Simply stated, there is no a better software on the market for a concept to completion environmental design. Please add me to this thread.
