First off, please make sure that the Web Standalone has been exported from our latest release, to avoid any potential issues which may be caused by any problems (occurring in previous versions) which have already been resolved.
Furthermore, our Web Standalones do not run on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad), but they should run on Mac systems.

I'm sorry to hear about that. You can gladly let me know which Macbook he is using exactly, or which graphics card / Intel on-board GPU so that I can check if this problem is really persisting due to hardware which does not support our Web Standalones.
All I know is MAC with Intel HD Graphics 5000
