I requested the ability to relink before. Currently it seems the path to the proxy model is hardlinked. If you change the path or file name the proxy won’t work. It would be nice to have a way to manually change the path or to have a relative path.
I'd appreciate a reply from someone at Enscape. Is this really true that currently there is not way to transfer files with proxies from one computer to another?
Only way I got this to work is to make sure you use the same file path on different computers. So for example c:\proxy\
I would like an easier way as well. Today I had to redo a lot of proxies because I wanted to store them in a different location.
Hey dldieterich2 , what annevanzwol stated is in fact correct, but there is a dedicated feature request on our agenda to allow you to package proxies together with project files and a further feature request to allow you to use relative paths for proxies, textures, sound sources instead of absolute paths.
I can gladly upvote both of these topics on your behalf, otherwise, do you prefer one of the other?

omg WOW we absolutely need relative paths asap guys i have converted severeal trees in the last hours just to found that damn.. i need to do it again and place them in a proper library path together with the maps and their path hehe..

that would be the best. Normally, I put all the proxy on my google drive (with exact same path between 2 pcs). So everything I do in the office, I can have it at home too.
I would like to see this feature added as well.

Surprised relative paths for assets hasn't been implemented yet. Absolutely adding my support here.
It's basically only a matter of time until this is going to be implemented. I can understand that this missing feature can be frustrating, so thank you all for a bit more patience in that regard!
